UK Identity Cards – change to legislation - January 2011
Driving test candidates with an old-style paper licence will no longer be able to use a UK identity card on test. If a candidate presents for the driving test on or after 21 January 2011 with a UK identity card instead of a passport the test will not go ahead. The Direct.gov website has details - but has not been updated at the time of writing (10.01.2011). |
