Did you think it was the first of April when the boss of the a certain national driving school appeared in court for speeding offences?
Not because he had notched up an amazing 17 (yes SEVENTEEN) points on his licence.
speedingNot because he had the audacity to refuse to tell police who was driving his car when it was caught speeding on camera.
Not even because he is the "Boss" of the UK's biggest driver training organisation.
But because, instead of taking his punishment (a ban) like a full grown adult, he whined that he had to take his Mum to the GP. He's the boss of a national company - surely he, if anyone, could arrange for someone to take her (ever heard of taxis?) - even if disqualified?
WHAT WERE THE MAGISTRATES THINKING !!!!! They let him off. How come the more money you earn, the more likely the magistrate is to administer a slap on the wrist and send you on your way - at the wheel!
You can read about it in The Sun or The Telegraph
