Join DIDU
DIDU welcomes all employed and self-employed Approved Driving Instructors and Provisional Driving Instructors.
To join DIDU, please download and complete a Membership Application Form. If you are unable to do this, contact us and we will post the form to you.
The membership fee is £23.50 per annum if paid by direct debit, or £25.00 if paid with cash or cheque, or online. (Please note: online payment will be available soon - sorry for the inconvenience).
Associate membership for PDIs is £12.50 for the first six months, and the balance to the above amounts for the second 6 months, or after qualification.
Please print additional forms for distribution to interested ADI colleagues who may not have access to the internet, and put a few in your brief case, so you have them to hand out when another ADIs ask. Also leave a few application forms at your local test centre, if you think the local examiners will not remove them.
- Only membership forms fully and correctly filled in will be considered for membership.
- Unfortunately, due to the way the T&G store membership information, we are unable to send out membership reminders for overdue subscriptions to those members who pay by cash or cheque.
- Paying by direct debit is better for us and cheaper for you.
- We also welcome motorcycle and LGV instructors, and others involved in driver education and road safety to join, please ask for details.
- Please note that the new combined DIDU and T&G membership card has "Scale ADI" in the bottom left corner, this is to denote that you are a DIDU union member.
